Valor is from our Easter litter. He was born on 4-23-2025. He is a purebred Maremma Sheepdog. He comes from true working lines. He parents are excellent livestock guardian dogs. He comes pedigreed.
 
Maremmas are a wonderful breed that is loving to the livestock they are guarding and to their family, but discerning enough to know when to act if there is a predator. This is a more rare breed in the United States. They are analytical, have no prey drive (unlike the other livestock guardian breeds), they only bark if there is an actual threat. Males typically stand between 25 and 29 inches tall and weighing 77 to 100 pounds. Females are slightly smaller, ranging from 23 to 27 inches in height and weighing 66 to 88 pounds. They are very calm and low energy. Maremmas tend to guard flock, whereas most other guardian dogs, guard the area.
