Sales Policy: Mini Lops
See Below for Maremma Sheepdog Policy:
Please read our entire sales policy to be sure that you are comfortable with everything. Please let us know if you have any questions. We have this agreement so there is no confusion. This agreement is written to protect everyone, you, us, and of course the bunnies. Thank you!
-
We sell quality Mini Lops for show, breeding and loving pets! All of our bunnies can be purchased with a pedigree. We will also tattoo their ear, upon request, for free. They are perfect for 4H, or FFA as well. We breed for beautiful color-lines, type, and fun-loving personalities. We provide up-most care and love to each and every rabbit in order to promote calm, loving, and a happy disposition.
-
Please contact us if you are unhappy with your purchase, or must get rid of your bunny for any reason and we ask that you please bring him/her back to the rabbitry. This way the rabbit is properly re-homed , kept out of any kind of animal shelter, and kept healthy and happy. We do not sell any rabbits that have any appearance of being sick or having any health issues. All rabbits are healthy to the best of our knowledge when they leave our rabbitry. If the rabbit becomes unhealthy, sick or dies while in your care, we are not liable. Under normal circumstances, when the rabbit leaves us, we will not offer a refund. We are not responsible for any medical bills for your bunny once it leaves our rabbitry. Our goal is to provide each bunny with the best care possible, and provide each buyer with the information they need in order to limit the amount of stress the bunny is under and promote the smoothest transition.
-
All rabbits must be 8-10 weeks of age or older before leaving the rabbitry.
-
Rabbits, but mini lops in particular can become stressed or ill in the wrong situations, so please let us know if you have any questions so we can help the transition be as smooth as possible. There is no guarantee that any of our rabbits will win an award in a show, though we do strive for quality rabbits.
-
We will provide each rabbit/bunny with a transition bag of food to ease the bunnies stomach while switching over to new food, as well as a pedigree.
-
We do our best to check the sex of the rabbit. You can also check the bunny over yourself to be sure that you agree on the sex and health of the rabbit. Sexing a rabbit can be difficult; even the most experienced breeders/judges make mistakes sometimes. If we get the gender wrong, we will apply the amount that you paid towards another bunny if you would like to choose a different bunny.
-
After receiving the payment or deposit, we will hold the rabbit. We will meet you with your sweet bunny, as well as with a birth certificate (or pedigree, if purchased), and transition food, as soon as he/she is old enough to leave. If you decide to cancel your sale, we refund everything except 35% because we were not able to sell the bunny to someone else while it was on hold. This will help reimburse food/hay costs. We also may have to reduce the price of the bunny, due to the bunny being older than when you first purchased him/her. This will be handled on a case by case basis.
-
We have the right to refuse the sale. In this case a full refund will be given to you.
-
After purchase, we will take pictures of the bunnies when they are 6 weeks old. If you would like more sets of pictures beyond that, before they come home to you, we charge $20 for our time.
-
If a bunny cannot come home with you, due to something on our end, you will receive a full refund.
-
If you return a bunny for any reason, and would like us to re-home him or her for you we will be happy to do that. We will accept any of our bunnies back, but we do not offer a refund.
-
You must be 18 years old or older to make a purchase or your parents must be apart of the process

-
-
We teach all of our puppies with positive reinforcement. Please read our blogs, where we discuss training methods, diet, etc. or our Maremma Sheepdog page, where we give links to our trainings we provide. We do not agree with hitting, using pronged collars, or shock collars on the dogs. We have successfully trained all of our stock without these methods, and we work hard to supply you with the information to be able to do the same. We are not responsible if the dog becomes aggressive or has bad behavior due to incorrect teaching/training methods.
-
The most common reason dogs end up in the pound, is that they are not trained well and become difficult to manage. Often, the reason they are not trained well, is because people do not know where to start or what to do; we want to see you be successful with your new puppy, so we do all we know to do, to help you feel equipped; but it is up to you to do it and read the material we provide.
-
We aim to be fully transparent and honest in all of our dealings, "Treating you as we would like to be treated." Matthew 7:12
-
All puppies are 10 weeks of age or older before leaving Verity Farm.
-
See our Maremma Sheepdog page to see what is included with each puppy.
-
Our goal is to instill a lifelong, teachable spirit into each puppy. We want to produce the healthiest, most balanced, faithful, and trustworthy partners for you. We want your puppy to have excellent judgment when they are making independent decisions for your livestock or the protection of your family. We work very hard to partner each family's needs with the puppy that will be best suited for them. We are continually with our puppies, testing, teaching, and working with them, in order to evaluate all the factors we can think of, to produce quality puppies for you, your family, and your farm, so you can have peace of mind. We are continually reading, learning, and growing ourselves, to produce the healthiest and best that this breed can offer.
-
Once the litter is born, we will accept deposits. Deposits can be made on our website. The deposit goes towards the total cost of the puppy. Deposits are non-refundable. The balance can be paid in cash when we meet you with your new puppy.
-
We will test all the puppies, beginning at 8 weeks. At that time, we will allocate the puppies after thoroughly testing them and figuring out which puppy is best for the purposes that each family has for him/her. Also at 8 weeks, we will email you your training videos, so that you can begin watching them in preparation for your new puppy joining your family/farm. If we feel that we do not have a puppy that matches up well with your needs, we can bump you to the next litter. Once we have allocated puppies, we will begin training your puppy for the specific job that you have for him/her. If you have decided on a name for your puppy, we will begin calling him/her by their new name, so they will know it pretty well when they meet you for the first time.
-
We have the right to refuse the sale. In this case a full refund will be given to you.
-
We can begin arranging when and where to meet you with your new puppy, when you pay your deposit. On our store page, you will see different locations we will be in, on specific days. If you need to meet at a different time/day, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate. We charge $.70/mile to drive to you, if you would like us to bring a puppy directly to you.
