Predatory Nemotodes are our heroes! Within a month of putting them down each Spring, we do not see any ticks. I am going to say that again....we HAVE NOT SEEN A TICK!!! They work so well. We live in a very populated tick area. In our area, the ticks think they are the boss. Basically, what is going on, it there is an imbalance in our area, and all around the United States right now. There is a growing, overpopulation of ticks and it must be controlled. We all need to work to restore that balance. Predatory nemotodes are amazing.
How do they work? They are microscopic organisms that you put in a spray bottle with water and spray them in the area that you are wanting to get rid of the ticks and other bugs and then they burrow in the ground and they eat the larvae of the ticks and other bugs so they cannot multiply. Within a month of spraying them, we do not see them on our property. We have gone whole summers without seeing a tick on any of our animals or children.

This is from their website:
"Double-Death" Predator Nematodes are some of the most useful pest controls to come along in years. They attack and kill more than 250 different insects, including Fleas, Ticks, Thrips, Fungus Gnats, even insects as large as Cutworms! Nearly any insect that spends a part of its lifecycle in the soil is likely prey for "Double-Death" Predator Nematodes.
Predatory nematodes are tiny, worm-like organisms that feed on other soil-dwelling creatures such as insects and mites. These microscopic predators have been gaining popularity in the agricultural industry as a natural and effective way to control pests without the use of harmful pesticides.
Here are some of the insects they will kill:

Most of us know people or animals who have been harmed by Lyme or other tick-borne diseases. For us, this has helped so much! Here is the company that we order from, but feel free to order from whomever you wish. We hope that this information blesses you and your farm/family.
We also use food grade diatomaceous earth to fight against mites, etc. We never see them on our bunnies, puppies, or other animals. Praise the Lord, this works! 2 Peter 1:3, "His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness." He gives us everything we need, at exactly the right time; for the obstacles we are facing, both Spiritual trials and physical ones. May we turn to Him for all things. Philippians 4:6, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God."
Blessings,
Verity Farm
